To former Paisley International Baccalaureate students who completed Year Five of the Middle Years Programme we are extremely interested in your IB experience and how your time and activities benefited you in your later life.
Please read the following:
We are creating materials that highlight our current and former students and how Paisley and IB has impacted their lives. We would love for you to be part of this! If you are willing, please send a photo of yourself and ~2 paragraphs about your "IB story" to Mrs. Knapp at “[email protected].”
Possible prompts include:
1. How did the IB program impact your life and your future?
2. How did the Learner Profile and/or ATL skills enhance your life?
3. What influence did Paisley have on your life?
4. Why do you support the IB program?
5. What impact did the Personal Project have on you?
6. How did community service impact your life?
Choose any or all of the prompts or something else that was special to you.
Remember, this is your story! We appreciate all of your responses and are so proud of all of our former Panthers!

Paisley International Baccalaureate Magnet School features all five years of the IB Middle Years Programme (MYP) continuum, Year One (sixth grade) through Year Five (tenth grade).
Theodros “Theo” Mitiku, one of Paisley’s distinguished MYP Certificate holders has passed, succumbing to cancer much too young. He graduated from Parkland Magnet High School’s IB Diploma Programme and then earned an undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech University.
A visitation and vespers service is planned for Friday, July 1 from 2-5 p.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church on Shalimar Drive. Funeral service will also occur at Emmanuel Baptist Monday, July 3 lat 11 a.m.
Theo’s given name, “Theodros” means “gift of God” in Greek. Truly, this young was a gift we have lost much too early.
For those feeling generous, the Mitiku family has set up funds for two cancer research groups:
