Summer is here, well at least the temp of summer here in NC. A new month calls for new letters.

Book of the Month for the month of March

This is one of the best things ever about homeschool!

For the entire month of February, we will be going over the letters E & F.

Tried to capture the joy in her eyes when I presented the alphabet cards 🃏🙂. She was a little on the fussy side today, however, when she seen the cards, she became quickly content 😁. Maybe next time, I can get a better pic. She was picking up the cards 🎴 in the pic.

New book 📕 for the month of June 2024. Whenever I get a new book 📖 out for baby girl, she always appears so anxious and excited 😊 for me to read the book 📕 to her. I just really love 💗 it. I can tell she is very aware, and ready every time I present a book to her, whether it’s the same book 📕 or a new one. She just has this look of wonder on her face when I get ready to read to her. It’s a look as if she’s wondering when I’m going to begin the read…lol…It’s kind of funny that she gets upset if she sees me with the book, and don’t read to her right away. I always prepare her first. I make sure she has eaten, diaper changed, then seated in preparation for Baby Homeschool. It just works better for both of us. It makes for a smooth transition from the previous activities.

Every month, I present two new sight words to baby girl. These two new sight words are geared around fruit 🍎 🍉 🍌.
I always review the previous sight words, letters, numbers etc. taught, so she can remember the previous lessons taught. I believe it’s always good for her memory. I love how when I quiz her, she bends her face to the flash card to inform me of which card she thinks is which. It’s the cutest 🥰 ever. I will give you an example of what I mean. So, I will ask her, “ Which one is the banana 🍌 “?…Her response: She may bend her face to pick the banana card or visa versa. This shows me which card she is choosing. I always applaud 👏🏽 her efforts, even if she gets it wrong. I say to her good try, then give her the correct answer if she gets it wrong. She is one smart baby. I am just happy knowing that she at least tries. At the frail age of only 10 months, any effort is progress in my eyes.

Sooo… for the month of June 2024, the 2 new letters of the month are “J” & “K”!… I just LOVE 💕 seeing my daughter’s eyes light up and present this wonderful smile 😊 on her face when I bring out the letters flash cards 🎴. It shows me, she has a genuine love for learning and she is currently only 10 months of age. How precious. I will try to capture that beautiful 😍 smile of hers in the future, God willing, when I show her the letter flash cards 🎴.To see her smile in that event, really warms my heart 💜!
