We are a group of dedicated wood carvers who want to promote the art of woodcarving to adults and youth above the age of 13. We now have about 120 members.
We offer instruction in all aspects of our craft in addition to painting our carvings. We also offer fellowship with each other. We are a club that benefits and promotes the art of wood carving. Our club was established on 31 August 2009 with 17 members. We invite all former members to return to our membership. It is with great sadness that we share the news that our dear founder and long time member Tim Trudgeon passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026. Tim was a great friend and taught countless numbers of people how to carve in his lifetime. He will be remembered fondly for his humor, wisdom and the talent that he so readily shared. We will miss seeing him every week at club meetings and will always cherish the legacy he created in starting the Triad Woodcarvers Club.
