In 2008 the BB&T Center for the Study of Capitalism was formed at Wake Forest University. The objective of the Center is to engage faculty and students in exploring the system of capitalism in its entirety.

What's fair game to talk about in the workplace?

Well, that depends on who you are and what your position is.

Managers tend to think their workplaces do a great job of creating a culture where it’s comfortable to discuss ideology.

But fewer than half of women, liberals, and non-managers say the same.

If so, believe it or not, you’re in the minority. 70% of Americans have positive views of their workplace culture.

Those who share the most favorable views of their workplace culture:

💼Managers at 76.4% (vs non-managers at 59.1%)

🐘Conservatives at 75% (vs moderates at 72.6% and liberals at 65.2%)

🚹Men at 70.9% (vs women at 64.4%)
