Reynolda Village in Winston-Salem, NC is one of my favorite places to walk and enjoy nature. There are some treasures there like The Bookhouse bookstore. https://thebookhousews.com/

Children's story hour is on Monday morning but there are opportunities for book signings with local authors for adults as well. They have a lovely selection of books, games and so much more.

Also at Reynolda, I came upon a gallery of beautiful artwork by an artist named Gail Roberts. Her gallery is called The Painter’s Palette. The gallery is an eclectic collection of work ranging from gorgeous city scapes, florals, and animal portraits to abstracts in both oils and acrylics.

Check out Reynold Village and be sure to stop at The Bookhouse for a lavender lemonade and a good book or at the Painter’s Palette for one of a kind art.

This was a zoom lesson I conducted with a 6th grade student during COVID. We were doing a grammar lesson on modifying sentences.

Beginning January 16, 2024, Tutoring services for students in Kindergarten through grade 8 will be available in my Winston-Salem, NC home.
