Reynolda Village in Winston-Salem, NC is one of my favorite places to walk and enjoy nature. There are some treasures there like The Bookhouse bookstore. https://thebookhousews.com/

Children's story hour is on Monday morning but there are opportunities for book signings with local authors for adults as well. They have a lovely selection of books, games and so much more.

Also at Reynolda, I came upon a gallery of beautiful artwork by an artist named Gail Roberts. Her gallery is called The Painter’s Palette. The gallery is an eclectic collection of work ranging from gorgeous city scapes, florals, and animal portraits to abstracts in both oils and acrylics.

Check out Reynold Village and be sure to stop at The Bookhouse for a lavender lemonade and a good book or at the Painter’s Palette for one of a kind art.

Yesterday, I visited a community here in Winston-Salem called Crossnore Communities for Children. My lovely, kind tour guide was Lucia Higgins. Senior Development Officer. Learn more about this incredible community at https://www.crossnore.org/.

Crossnore Communities for Children is a non-profit child welfare agency serving children across North Carolina.
