New Engineering & Biomedical Sciences programs from Wake Forest University in downtown , est. 2 So roll up your sleeves and bring your dreams.

Our biomedical sciences and engineering programs are designed specifically to bridge the graduate and undergraduate world in ways that catalyze groundbreaking theory and application. Progress is yours for the making. Beginning in 2017, newly approved courses of study in Engineering, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Medicinal Chemistry and Drug Discovery will anchor the University’s undergraduate presence at Wake Downtown located in Wake Forest Innovation Quarter. These programs, along with other planned academic, community, and social opportunities, will call a rehabilitated R.J. Reynolds Tobacco Company 60 series building home and will be adjacent to the new space for the medical education programs of Wake Forest School of Medicine starting summer 2016. What an incredible day of learning, laughter, and giving back! 🖤 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who donated and made it possible to purchase the ingredients and supplies needed to prepare a Meaningful Meal for the families staying at Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Piedmont. We are already planning the menu for the next meal.

An enormous thank you to Chef Crissy at LeanBack Soul Food for creating such a fun, welcoming space where our alumni could learn important cooking skills, reconnect with one another, and serve our community in such a meaningful way.

To our amazing LEAP alumni, thank you for showing up with generous hearts, teamwork, and plenty of laughs. Watching this community continue to grow, support one another, and make a difference long after the summer program ends is exactly what WF LEAP is all about.

This is a special community that keeps showing up for one another and for others! 🎩

LeanBack Soul Food LeanBack Soul Food Catering Co and WF LEAP are teaming up for Meals That Matter, a service event supporting families staying at the Ronald McDonald House of the Piedmont Triad.
This summer, WF LEAP alumni will work elbow-to-elbow with Chef Crissy to prepare and serve a special sit-down meal for families whose children are receiving medical care.

Additionally, next week (May 4-8) is Teacher Appreciation Week! There will be a box in the Main Lobby for students to write thoughtful notes that will be distributed to their Wake Downtown professors. What a great way to say thank you as the semester comes to a close!⭐️
