Success Story: Building a Lifeline for Families Through Collaborative Care - We're proud to celebrate the success of MindBridge Behavioral Health, founded by Dr. Gretchen Hoyle to address the growing behavioral health needs of children, adolescents, and young adults in our community.

Through a partnership with Northwest AHEC and Collaborative Care implementation support, MindBridge has built a sustainable, family-centered model that brings together medical care, behavioral health support, parent guidance, and school collaboration.

NC AHEC's Health Careers team had a great time exhibiting at the 2026 Career and Technical Education (CTE) Summer Conference last week! This conference is hosted by NC Public Schools (NC Department of Public Instruction) in partnership with the NC Association for Career and Technical Education. Our team was one of 60 exhibitors and connected with over 2,000 North Carolina teachers to collaborate on building the next generation of health care professionals!
