Summer Intensives at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts

Summer Intensive applications are now live on our website!

Summers at UNCSA are a time for immense artistic growth. Programs lasting one to four weeks prepare students to excel in their chosen fields of study through daily schedules packed with intensive arts training, optional cross-disciplinary classes and services, plus on and off-campus social activities throughout the week and weekends.

Applications for the 2025 Summer Intensives are open! Residential and commuter options are available for most programs. Please visit the specific program pages on our website for more information.

Summer Programs Summer programs are available for middle and high school students, as well as college-level and professional artists.

Students participate in "world class" American Harp Academy at University of North Carolina School of the Arts Students travel near and far to participate in the "world-class" American Harp Academy.
