The following recommendation highlights the service of women during the Vietnam War. At times, this book may be hard to read for some people because of the descriptions of war. This book is deeply moving and provides a birdโs eye view of the women who served during the Vietnam War in the medical tents. You will walk beside Frankie, a fictionalized character, as she leaves her idyllic Southern California home and travels to Vietnam as a nurse. I hope you will consider reading this book and walk along beside The Women as they describe their journey through the Vietnam War.

This weekend, we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women of the Greatest Generationโthose who answered the call to serve and helped shape the course of history.
On the anniversary of D-Day, June 6, we reflect on the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve displayed on the shores of Normandy in 1944. Their actions changed the world, defending freedom at a tremendous cost.
In memory of those who gave everything, and in gratitude for all who served, we remember. Their legacy lives on in the freedoms we cherish every day. ๐
