Winston Salem Forsyth County water facilities has announced that the water outage has been controlled and all if not most water pressure throughout the county has been restored. There is an advisory that water should be boiled for one minute before consumption to reduce any possibilities of coming in contact with contaminated water.

As a safety precaution Quality Education Academy, has taken this into consideration and decided to cancel this weeks remaining new student orientation.

We don’t want any of our scholar coming into contact with our water resources until further notice is given by Winston Salem Forsyth County water utilities. We would like to thank you for your timely attention to this matter as our city works towards containment.

QEA Family-If you’re in the Oakridge, Kernersville, Walkertown or Winston Salem area, contractor KRG is doing water system improvements and had a main water break. 🚨Affected areas’ water has either been shut completely off or experiencing low water pressure. ‼️This is supposed to go on between 8am-5pm ttoday. Unfortunately, this will require us to close orientation early. Early pick-up will begin at 10a. We will keep you posted regarding tomorrow’s schedule, as we are updated. You can check on updates directly on The City if Winston-Salem, NC Government page.

Our Summer P.O.P. Camp had an amazing adventure at the Museum of Illusions! Campers explored mind-bending exhibits, discovered incredible optical illusions, and had tons of fun challenging their eyes and brains. It was a day full of laughter, excitement, and unforgettable memories!
