“Coming into Wake, I knew I wanted to join a sorority. I didn’t have any idea where my place would be. All I knew is that I wanted a place that I could call home and truly be myself. And it’s safe to say that Kappa Delta has given me this and so much more. Since joining KD, I have made countless memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Without this place, I would have never found my sweet lineage: Mary Neal, Addie, and Madeline. These three girls are my biggest role models, and I’m the luckiest to call them my family. I also have Kappa Delta to thank for introducing me to the kindest people ever; each of these girls has the biggest heart and personality to share with the world. I truly am so lucky and I cannot wait for the years to come. This sisterhood is so special, and I’d choose Kappa Delta over and over again!💚 I can’t wait to see these girls again so soon!!”

“Before joining KD, I had only met Elisa a handful of times. Once I learned that we were both going to live on 401, I was so excited to get the opportunity to be better friends with her. But even though we were in the same sorority and knew we were going to be living with each other, we didn’t actually become close until we moved in. Since the first week of school fall semester, I knew Elisa was going to become one of my best friends. I remember calling my dad that first month telling him I had never clicked with someone so fast. I basically moved into her room and became the 3rd roommate. Elisa has become one of the most important parts of my life in college. I truly could not imagine what this year would have looked like without Elisa in it. I will forever be grateful to the random assignment of sophomore housing to fully introducing her into my life. I hope everyone gets to experience having a friend like Elisa at some point in their live’s.”

“I met Courtney through a friend of a friend, one time, the first semester of our Freshman year. However, once we rushed Kappa Delta and moved into Davis 401 together, I felt like I had known her forever. Whether it be the mundane task of changing her sheets or our extraordinary nights of live music, I cherish every moment with her. Never in my life has someone walked in on me crying and then had me laughing all within the span of 10 minutes. She is kind, smart, genuine, and beautiful inside and out, embodying each and every trait that can describe a Kappa Delta sister. I feel so lucky to have her as a friend, next-door neighbor, and sister. I can’t wait to keep making more memories in KD with her by my side.”

“KD not only allowed me to meet some of the most amazing people I’ve met at Wake, but it brought me closer to someone who I thought I couldn’t love more than I already did. Through KD, Elinor has become so much more than a best friend; she is now my sister, my future roommate, and someone who feels like home. Elinor is a true embodiment of KD- always radiating positivity and genuineness to those around her. I don’t know what I did to deserve a friend like her, but I’m forever grateful I now get to experience life with her by my side!”
