Member of Colbert’s Band Went to Winston-Salem School WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. -- One of the band members on the new 'Late Night Show With Stephen Colbert' attended high school in Winston-Salem. Eddie Barbash plays saxophone with the group Jon Batiste and Stay Human.

News Article (WINSTON-SALEM) Provost David Nelson has announced Faculty Emeritus Elaine Doerschuk Pruitt will return to the University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) as interim dean and headmaster of the High School Academic Program. She will serve during the 2015-16 academic year.

Sending congratulations to our students and teachers on excellent scores on Advanced Placement exams. 88.4% of our students scored a 3 or better on the exams, compared to 60.7% nation wide.

We're so excited to welcome all the new students to the Pickle family today! We can't wait to get to know you.

We will have another opening in the science department in the fall. Long time Biology teacher, Linda Moore, will be entering phased retirement and will reduce her teaching load to half time.
