If you've studied with us over the past decade, then you've had the pleasure to know Jenny Hutcherson and call her a friend. On Monday, we will say goodbye to Jenny as she moves on to her next adventure. We are very sad to see her leave, but know that her next adventure will be amazing and that the students she mentors will be very lucky to have her! If you have fond memories of your time here at WFU Law with Jenny, please share them here and help us to wish her well!

As we close out 2021, we look back on a year of challenges and new adventures. We welcomed our first-ever Spring start LL.M. class in January, and then said goodbye to them in December. For the first time, our students enjoyed a baseball game with the Dash, and later in the year we brought back the much-loved tradition of the Thanksgiving potluck. There were virtual dissertation defenses, socially distanced graduation ceremonies, and a specially prepared (for safety!) Diwali celebration. And through all of it our students were resilient, determined, brave, and an absolute joy to call a part of the Wake Forest Law Family. So to our students, our cherished alumni, family and friends around the world, Happy New Year!

We were thrilled to bring back the annual International Thanksgiving Potluck dinner last night. We enjoyed so, so much food from around the world. More importantly, we got to spend time with our Wake Law family, sharing conversation, laughter, and the joy of being together.
