Our toddler classrooms are in need of mobility trainers, ideally a trainer device with a handle for our staff/caregivers to safely and comfortably transport children during recess hours! A MASSIVE thank you and shout out to the Mount Tabor JV boy's soccer team and their incredible hard work on The Special Children's School's garden on Saturday! The team gave a HUGE assist in giving some much needed love and care by tending to the garden. TSCS & CFEC are always welcoming prospective volunteers for upcoming projects throughout the year! Our dear Eloise has been selected to be featured in a photo for the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS) Time Square Video Presentation this Saturday, September 12th! Lou's photo of her practicing with her gait trainer here at CFEC will join 500+ photos featuring children, teens, and adults with Down Syndrom across the country and world! Best of all--little Lou will be highlighted on one of the most visible places on the planet: on two big screens in the heart of Time Square! You can join the viewing of Lou's spotlight as the presentation will be livestreamed on the NDSS page from 8:30 - 9:30 AM ET on 9/12, or by clicking the following link: https://www.facebook.com/NDSS1979.
