Mr. Chris Wendt represented WSSU and the Department of Physical Therapy well on an international level, presenting his novel research at the 2026 World Congress of Biomechanics meeting in Vancouver, Canada! His poster presentation was β€œAn Evaluation of the Functional Movement Screen and a Golf-Specific Movement Screen in Identifying Physical Limitations Related to Golf Performance”, which involved 12 DPT students across 3 different cohorts as co-investigators and authors on the study.

Mr. Wendt is the current Lab Manager of the WSSU-WFU Human Performance and Gait Lab and Instructor of the Clinical Biomechanics course and within the Research course series in the WSSU DPT Program.
