I'm trying my hand at another genre, acrylic painting. I am really enjoying it. And I hope to adds some of these items to my next show.
Not sure that the pansies are done. Seems like it needs a little more to me.

This was s fun experience. Learned slot about the farm I was exhibiting at, sold a few items and hot quite a bit of work done. Fine meeting the attendees and learning about them.

Working on some new items mainly for Twin City Artisans new show Artisans @ the Garden. On July 19 and 20 TCA and Paul J. Ceiner Botanical Garden will be hosting a new 2019 art show. There will 30+ vendors with art varying from paintings, photography, jewelry, wood, glass both fused and stained, mosaics and more. Please come check out this new, free show.

Hi everyone. You have not heard from me for a very long time....this winter has been really hard on my health and psyche. Hopefully the warmer temps and beautiful, warming sunshine will change my attitude.
However I want to let everyone know I will be teaching a Stained glass and/or Mosaics class beginning on April 2, this next Tuesday from 9:30 to noon at SSVA (Sawtooth School for Visual Arts) on Marshall Street in downtown Winston Salem. The class is 8 weeks. Contact www.sawtooth.org to sign up.
In stained glass you will learn everything you need to know from preparing the pattern to your finished copper foil or leaded project. You should have time to make two projects. Bring 2 or 3 sq. ft. pieces of glass in your favorite colors to begin your project the first day.
If you choose mosaic, you will end up being able to choose the correct substrate, glue, grout for any project you choose to do. We will discuss various intricacies of mosaics while we work. You will need to bring a substrate (what you want to mosaic) on the first day of class plus glass tiles, ceramic tiles/dishes to glue down.
