🪵 Give your middle schooler the chance to build something with their own hands!

Our Youth: Introduction to Woodworking class introduces students in grades 6-8 to woodworking fundamentals in a safe, creative, and hands-on environment. From learning basic tools and techniques to creating projects they can be proud of, this class is a great way to build skills and confidence.

Our Whimsical Pipe class lets you bend and laminate wood into a custom stem, then hand-form your own individually-designed bowl to match. A hobbit- or wizard-worthy pipe, hand-carved, curved, ready for Faire season, crisp fall nights in the backyard, or a spot of honor on your mantle. 🍂

Marjorie Larkin, 83, has been taking photography classes at Sawtooth School for Visual Art since 2019. She has registered for an amazing 90 classes! Her favorite is urban street photography. What she loves most about photography is how it encourages her to see familiar places in entirely new ways.
