I apologize for being MIA, lately. There have been some very serious personal issues going on, and I have not been as available as I would like. I wanted to let everyone know that the fundraiser we had planned for next Tuesday, March 19th, has been cancelled. We will do a fundraiser in April, instead, for Vitanna.org.

Members who are interested in being on a committee for our upcoming Easter Fundraiser that will benefit Vitanna.org (type of fundraiser has yet to be determined), please e-mail or call me.

The PTK Sevice Hour Certificate Committee is also looking for a new member. One of the members has been removed. If you are interested, e-mail me ([email protected]) or call me (336-782-7376). First come, first serve. :-D

I will be dropping off signs for our fundraiser at Maryanna's office this evening after class. If any of you want to help hang them up, they will be available by tomorrow morning. I will put tape in the envelope, please return the tape to Maryanna, so I don't have to keep buying more. :-P

The second meeting this week will be at the Starbucks on University Parkway on Friday, February 8 @ 7pm. This is a repeat of Monday's meeting, so if you attended that meeting, you do not need to come to the one on Friday, unless you just want to hang out and have some coffee. :-D

I hope you all had wonderful Christmas and New Year holidays, as well as a much needed break from classes. Our first meeting of the semester will be Monday, February 4th @ 11am in the Tech Building, Room 542.

The King Police Department "Cops for Tots" Check Presentation scheduled for tomorrow has been moved from 3pm to 4pm. It will still be at the King campus - Thursday, 12/13 @ 4pm.
