Forsyth Tech Animation & Media Arts Forsyth Tech's official A.A.S. in Animation & Media Arts page. Toon Boom Centre of Excellence The animation industry is booming right now!

Here at Forsyth Tech, we offer an Associate in Applied Science (AAS) degree in Digital Effects & Animation. Our program is a blend of 2D and 3D - 2D is slightly more dominant within our program. We're also one of two colleges within North Carolina that is a Toon Boom Centre of Excellence - meaning that we use industry required software and our faculty receive regular training from industry professionals that have or are working for major animation students. Careers we prepare students for are: 2D animator, storyboard artist, 3D animator, 3D modeler, character designer, environment designer, illustrator, special FX, compositing, and motion graphics. While the skills we train students for can be used within the animation or gaming industries, they can also be used locally for advertising and marketing companies.
