During Masterpiece Maker Week, every project became an opportunity to imagine, create, and express! 🎨✨

Inspired by nature and the beauty of summer, our campers designed bridges, crafted scenic landscapes, and added lily pads to complete their one-of-a-kind masterpieces.

As they explored art through building, painting, and creating, they discovered that there are endless ways to bring an idea to life.

💦🌈 What a week of splashing, experimenting, and discovering! During Splash & Dash Week, our campers became young scientists as they explored the amazing properties of water through hands-on activities and outdoor fun.

They tested what sinks and floats, designed boats to travel across water, explored the colors of the rainbow, and even investigated whether wind or water was stronger at spinning a pinwheel. Along the way, they discovered creative ways to make water move, strengthened their problem-solving skills, and learned that some of the best discoveries happen when you’re willing to get a little wet!

For our youngest learners, the work of preschool is sensory and physical. They are pouring water between containers, learning to put on their own shoes, and discovering that one tool makes a mark different from another.

Every later academic skill, from handwriting to mathematical reasoning, starts here, with the hands.

🍎📚 Hello, August! A new month means new adventures, new friendships, and a fresh start to an exciting school year at Ivybrook Academy Winston-Salem!

As we head into back-to-school season, we’re looking forward to welcoming both new and returning families for another year filled with curiosity, creativity, and meaningful learning!

🌈 Chasing rainbows through creativity and discovery! Our little learners explored the colors of the rainbow while practicing observation, fine motor skills, and self-expression. As we talked about the order of the colors and where rainbows come from, each child created their own colorful masterpiece.

🌬️💧 Which is stronger—wind or water? Our young scientists put it to the test!

Using a pinwheel, we explored how both blowing air and pouring water could make it spin. The children made predictions, observed what happened, and compared the results, discovering that science is all about asking questions, testing ideas, and learning through hands-on exploration.

Adventure awaits! 🌍✈️ Our campers practiced teamwork with a travel-themed relay race, quickly passing hats and sunglasses to each friend before creating their own airplanes for an imaginative journey.

With luggage packed and creativity leading the way, every destination was possible!
