We are raising funds to support our mission to collect, preserve, and share our school’s history, and this year your donation to the Archives will directly support preservation supplies (specialized, acid-free boxes and folders) to house the original music scores and manuscripts of Vittorio Giannini, one of UNCSA’s founders and our first president.

In addition, the Thomas S. Kenan Institute for the Arts has pledged $1,000 to each of the 30 featured funds, if 850 donors make a gift on Days of Giving. Please help spread the word to make sure we can unlock this additional gift!

Two closeups of NCSA's Pickleman designed by Stephen Geiger!

Photos 09/14/2016

Pickleman has taken up residence in the Archives!
Created by Drama alum Stephen Geiger (74), the inspiration for Pickleman is the college football Heisman trophy paired with NCSA's eponymous Homecoming mascot, the Pickle.
Only 3 were cast by Geiger and the mold was broken so there will be no more!
We have no doubt Vittorio would approve the creative endeavors of Stephen and Pickle mascot mastermind and oboist, the late Larry Glickman
WE are so proud that Pickleman will live in perpetuum in the School Archives. Thank you from our hearts, Stephen Geiger!
