One week since Graduation means last Grad Spotlights: Elise Lipezker & Reece Thompson!

“My name is Elise Lipezker and I am from Highland Park, Illinois. During my three years in APO I had to opportunity to serve as an officer and on the executive board! I was the merchandise and design chair, and later the secretary. I can’t thank APO enough for the laughs, the memories, and my friends for life. APO gave me a second family, a space to grow, and a mission that gave my time at Wake Forest purpose. As I work as a medical assistant this next year, I will take leadership, friendship, and service with me wherever I go next.“

“Hey, I’m Reece from Columbus, Ohio! APO was helpful to not only find and discover new relationships, but it also helped me further develop already present ones in my life. With the task of service rallying people together, it forces you to be held accountable for your commitment while also serving as a way to build upon relationships and getting to know people you care about even better! I will be staying at Wake as a Masters student studying Health & Exercise Science.”

APO loves y’all!💙

Grad Spotlight: Molly Siebert!

“My name is Molly Siebert, and I’m from Syosset, NY. I joined APO my sophomore year to get more involved on campus and in the community. Looking back, it gave me that and so much more. I’ve served on exec twice as VP of Service and Co-New Member Educator (shoutout to Jessa!), met lifelong friends, and gained leadership, planning, and collaboration skills that will stay with me forever. APO was one of the best parts of my college experience, and I’m incredibly sad to leave it. My advice to underclassmen or prospective members: say yes to everything, whether it’s a meal with someone new, a service event, joining a committee, or stepping into leadership. APO opens amazing doors, you just have to walk through them. After graduation, I’m moving to Washington, DC to work as a medical assistant during my gap year while applying to medical school.”

APO will miss you, Molly!💙
