The Preschool Application for the 2026–2027 school year has officially opened today. As in previous years, everything is completed online. Please see the link below:

Applications for the NC Pre-K program will be accepted during the following phases:
--Phase One: February 16 – May 31, 2026
Applications will be accepted and processed during this initial enrollment period.
--Applications are Closed: June 1 - July 7, 2026 - No applications will be accepted during this time.
--Phase Two: July 8 – July 31, 2026
Applications will reopen for families who were unable to apply during Phase One. Families who apply during this phase will automatically be placed on the waitlist.
--Applications Closed: August 1 – September 7, 2026 - No applications will be accepted during this time.
--Phase Three: September 8, 2026 – Ongoing
Applications will reopen for families who were unable to apply during Phase One or Phase Two. Families who apply during this phase will automatically be placed on the waitlist.
Please note: Applying during Phase One gives families the best opportunity for placement, as slots are limited. Applications are processed in the order they are received during each phase.

It's that time! Countdown to Kindergarten!
Make sure you have all of the required documents:
-Student's Birth Certificate
-Parent/Guardian's ID
-Proof of Residency (Water, Gas or Electric Bill, Lease, Mortgage statement)
Rising Kindergarten students should be 5 on or before August 31, 2026.

In anticipation of inclement weather conditions and unsafe road conditions in the morning, WS/FCS will be closed on Friday, December 5. All student activities, including after school, will be cancelled. Please stay safe.
