We kicked off Hispanic Heritage Month with our Title I Community Night!

Our families connected, our student dancers shared a special performance, and we celebrated the people and businesses that make our JFK community so strong.

A big thank-you to our family-owned businesses who joined us: Graceful Sweets, Miorel’s House Cleaning, and Bernal Plumbing!

What a great way to start the celebration! ❤️

Today our 10th graders explored the World of Work, connecting with businesses across a variety of industries to learn more about careers and pathways that interest them.

But our students weren’t just attending, they were presenting. Students from our Masonry, Pharmacy Tech, and Business CTE Academies showcased what they’re learning at JFK.

That’s the power of Career & Technical Education. At JFK, we connect students with the people, experiences, and pathways that help them prepare for what’s next.

Hispanic Heritage Month starts Monday at JFK! We’re celebrating the cultures, traditions, and people that make our school community stronger. ❤️

Hispanic Heritage Spirit Week
Monday — Jersey Day
Tuesday — Traditional Attire Day
Wednesday — Wear Red for Free Hugs
Thursday — Flag Colors Day
Friday — Character Day

And don’t forget: Tuesday is our Title I Community Night! Join us from 5:30–7:00 PM for an evening of connection, resources, and community.
