The time is here!
Dear Salem Community, we are having an exciting event on our campus this Friday, April 8th from 8 PM-12 AM. H.O.L.A. and C.A.B. have joined forces to provide you with an eventful weekend to come to have some fun, support local LatinX vendors, watch some surprise performances, dance your heart out, and have some delicious food in the Student Center Plaza!
Noche Bohemia is an event where we celebrate Hispanic/LatinX arts.
For this event, we will have performances by our board members Melanie Garcia and Abigail Ramirez with their voices and rhythms. Ballet Folklorico Mexican tradition of Julio Ruiz will be joining us with an amazing performance of a traditional Mexican dance. We have some local LatinX businesses including one of our very own Salem Siblings, Vanessa Cruz Torales, who will be selling her handmade polymer clay earrings, as well as Pintamar, and Cactus Beauty joining us to sell their amazing products and merchandise. For more information on their products, look them up on instagram! Mi Casa will be selling a variety of delicious foods that everyone will enjoy. We can guarantee this is an event you don’t want to miss!
As a reminder, if you attend Noche Bohemia and Spring Cocktail on April 9th you will receive a FREE CAB t-shirt from one of their past events! Our H.O.L.A. President Ashley Sanchez will be providing punch cards as confirmation of attendance.
Our goal with this event is to join our communities and celebrate our uniqueness together, we highly encourage you to wear something that represents you, embraces your true self, or connects with your culture!
We'll see you there!
