Business teacher Kris Kelsey’s Career Explorations class had the pleasure of welcoming Wi******er Town Manager Paul Harrington to speak to them today.
He described his path through Business education, corporate America, and social work, ultimately landing him in the public sector. He described how his role impacts multiple departments in town and how far-reaching the effects of his position are. Students learned he has a major impact on infrastructure, economic development, Public Works, education, and beyond.
He also spoke of the “soft skills” that make desirable employees in the modern workforce like attention to detail, punctuality, collaboration, creativity, and many more! Students definitely benefited from his expertise, business and finance insights, and outlook on growth for our town.
