☀️🌙 A little science fun this afternoon! 🌙☀️

Keep an eye out for a partial solar eclipse this afternoon between approximately 1:30–2:00 PM!

🌳 No eclipse glasses? Find some dappled shade under a leafy tree and look at the shadows on the ground—not at the sun! As the Moon passes in front of the Sun, the spots of sunlight shining through the leaves may look like little cookies with a bite taken out. 🍪

⚠️ Safety first: Never look directly at the Sun without proper eclipse-viewing glasses. Regular sunglasses are not safe for eclipse viewing.

🧠 A fun question for our students:
Why can only some people on Earth see the eclipse?
Hint: Think about what an eclipse is and where the Moon's shadow falls! 🤔

What a fun opportunity to enjoy a little science and the wonder of God's creation! 💜💛
