Winchester Public Schools This is the official page for the Wi******er Public Schools

Wi******er Public Schools have a proud tradition dating back from the first school building, First District School, which was established in 1908. In Wi******er, "where we enter to learn, lead, then achieve," families and community join together in the education of our youth, proudly partnering to offer the best education possible. Batcheller Early Childhood Center hosts Prekindergarten and Kindergarten through second grade; Pearson Middle School has grades three through six. The Gilbert School, Wi******er's quasi-public high school, houses grades seven through twelve.

CHAMPS K–2: Little Artists, Big Ideas!

Each month, our CHAMPS K–2 students will learn about a famous artist and create their own interpretation of the artist’s work!
This month, they explored the colorful world of Yayoi Kusama, known for her love of pumpkins and polka dots!
Our young artists had fun creating their own artwork inspired by her unique style.

We can’t wait to see which artist they’ll discover next month! Stay tuned!

Our Pre-K friends enjoyed a nature walk to collect beautiful autumn treasures!

Back in the classroom, we read Leaf Man by Lois Ehlert and explored the different leaves we had found. The story helped us identify a variety of leaves and notice their unique shapes, colors, and sizes.

Our Kindergarten students had a very special visitor today—Mother Goose!

Mother Goose stopped by to help us celebrate the completion of our CKLA Nursery Rhymes Unit! The students had so much fun bringing their learning to life, sharing their favorite rhymes, and celebrating all they’ve learned.

Way to go, Kindergarten!

Learning and Earning Inchy Coins at Pearson!

From classrooms to the hallways, our students are working hard, celebrating their accomplishments, and proving that learning can be fun—and hard work pays off!

Keep up the great work, Pearson! We love seeing those smiles, positive choices, and of course… those Inchy Coins adding up!
