The word of the month is Chung Jik - Honesty (Right and Straight)

We often think of honesty as telling the truth when it is not easy, or when you've wronged someone. There is another side to honesty, and that's being honest in one's joys and care towards one self. Are you actually taking time to rest and rejuvenate, or are you doom scrolling and dissociating? What has or hasn't been working for you recently? These questions are not punitive, but help ensure that we're treating ourselves with the respect and care that we and the world deserves.

Honesty is one of the Eight Key Concepts of Dangsudo (Tang Soo Do). It directly translates to "Right and Straight" meaning Morally Correct and Transparent in Character.
