WHS Boys' & Girls' Soccer Scrimmages - Thu. Aug. 13th!!!
Our high school boys' and girls' soccer teams are hosting scrimmages today (Thu. Aug. 13th) at Nasser Stadium. Our Lady Bulldogs host Payson beginning at 5:00 PM. Our Bulldog Boys match up with Payson and Ash Fork starting around 6:30 PM. There is no admission. Please see the schedule below for more details. Go get' em Bulldogs!

WHS Athletics' Schedule for the Week of Aug. 10th!!!
Attached is the Winslow High School athletics' schedule for the week of August 10, 2026. We have our first events this week with both our soccer teams hsoting scrimmages on Thursday evening and football participating in a scrimmage at Blue Ridge on Friday. Our remaining fall sports' programs of swim and volleyball begin practicing on Monday, so every fall sport will be underway!
Lastly, please remember that before a student can participate in a practice, they must complete the register my athlete process, upload their 26-27 physical packet, complete the AIA Academy courses (3 total), and be cleared through the athletics' office. We have many student-athletes in each program ready to practice. Thanks for getting those items done early. If you haven't completed the registration process, please visit:

Then, login if you already have an account or create an account if this is your first time using the platform. Next, select your state, the school your child attends, complete the required documents, and upload your completed 26-27 physical packet. The physical packet can also be be turned in to the WHS Office. We can assist in uploading it into your account. Lastly, the season roster fee must be paid prior to the team's first competition of the season or the student-athlete will not be able to participate. Hey Bulldogs, do you love to swim? Join our swim team this fall. Practice starts on Monday, August 10th at 3:30 PM at the James L. Curtis Indoor Pool. You must have a physical completed, uploaded to Register My Athlete (RMA), all the RMA online forms complete, and the AIA Academy courses completed before you can participate. Winslow High School is proud to congratulate Leila Palfy on officially committing to and signing with the Northern Arizona University Dance Team!
Leila has already begun training with the team and is preparing for her first game on August 29. Her dedication, hard work, and passion have earned her this exciting opportunity at the collegiate level.
Throughout her time at WHS, Leila has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to athletics while maintaining high standards in the classroom. She has represented Bulldog Nation with pride, determination, and excellence, and we know she will continue to do the same at NAU.

WHS Fall Athletics Parent Meeting-Thu. Aug. 6th!!!
Parents of all our WHS Student-Athletes out for a fall sport, please join the athletics' department staff for an informational meeting Thursday, August 6th at 6:00 PM in the WHS PAC. During the first half of the meeting, the staff will go over general WHS athletic policies along with important AIA Bylaws. For the second half of the meeting, the fall sport teams of boys' soccer, cross country, football, girls' soccer, spiritline, swim, and volleyball will have a breakout session to go over their program's expectations. WHS Athletics' Schedule for the Week of Aug. 3rd!!!
Welcome Back Bulldogs! We're excited to start the school year on Monday! Attached is the Winslow High School athletics' schedule for the week of August 3, 2026. We don't have any events this week but will continue with our fall sports' practices. Football, boys' soccer, and girls' soccer continue their practices throughout the week. Marching band and cross country start practicing during the week. Spiritline is off for the week but will resume practices on Mon. Aug. 10th. Swim and volleyball start their official practices on Mon. Aug. 10th. Please note, volleyball is holding open gym sessions after school throughout the week of Aug. 3rd. Please see Coach Thomas for open gym details.

Congratulations to Mr. Tafoya on being recognized by former student Dylan Gilmore as a Teacher of Teachers recipient. This recognition is a true testament to the lasting impact you have had on the lives of your students.
