Even with a short week thanks to MEA break, we still have FOUR amazing staff members to celebrate! 🧡🖤

🧡 Twinning Tuesday! 🖤

It happens all the time at W-K! Two students show up wearing the same colors or outfits without even planning it. Today, these two Winhawks were perfectly matched! 😂🧡🖤

We love these fun little W-K moments! Great minds (and great style) think alike!

🚒 A FIELD TRIP FOR OUR 1ST GRADERS! 🚒

Our W-K first graders had an exciting visit to the Winona Fire Department yesterday! They got an up-close look at the important work our firefighters do to keep our community safe. 🧑‍🚒❤️

This trip was extra special for a couple of our Winhawks, who got to visit their firefighter dads! One picture even includes their firefighter uncle, too. Talk about a family of heroes! 🧡🖤

A huge THANK YOU to the Winona Fire Department for welcoming our students and giving them such a memorable learning experience. We’re grateful for the brave men and women who serve our community!

🎉🧡 PTA Prize Basket Winners! 🖤🎉

We have some lucky Winhawks! 🎁 As part of our PTA fundraiser, students earned one ticket for every donation and entered their names for a chance to win.

Our winners were randomly selected and took their prize baskets home today! 🙌

Thank you to our amazing PTA, generous families, and everyone who supported our fundraiser. Your generosity makes a difference at W-K! 🧡🖤

🧡🖤 Herky Hustle Fun! 🖤🧡

What a fantastic Friday morning at W-K! Our annual Herky Hustle, formerly known as the Hawk Walk, was a celebration of a very successful PTA fundraiser. Our students raised just shy of $17,000! 🎉

Thanks to Fastenal, every student and staff member received a matching Herky Hustle shirt, and we proudly wore them as we enjoyed two hours of fitness stations, a schoolwide picture, prize basket giveaways, and the announcement of our fundraiser winners!

A huge THANK YOU to our amazing PTA, Fastenal, our families, and everyone who helped make this fundraiser such a success. The PTA does so much for W-K, and we are incredibly grateful for our supportive community! 🧡🖤

What a wonderful Winhawk Friday! Herky Hustle pictures coming soon! 🧡🖤
