Our class Speech Team was featured by WAPS this week. This is fun...and random! LOL

This week's remembers the 1983 Speech Team! The team tied with Mankato East for first place at the Big Nine competition. Front row: Pam Althoff, Robert Kiihne, Kendra Krohse, Michelle Koplin. Erik Edin from the class of 1984 owns a brand new Pickleball facility in Woodbury MN called All World Pickleball. There are 15 brand new courts.

We would like the class of 1983 and 1985 to join the class of 1984 on Saturday August 23rd.

Below is the registration link for the Pickleball Reunion at All World Pickleball in Woodbury, MN on Saturday August 23, 2025 starting at 1 pm. Cost is only $8 per person + $2.38 tax and fee and open to all 1983, 1984 and 1985 alumni and their significant others / guests. Following the Pickleball event around 4 pm, we will gather at a local restaurant and bar (TBD) for food and beverages at your own expense. For those coming from out of town, we have group hotel rates in the registration. This should be a blast! Hope to see everyone there.

Casual night at Peter’s Biergarten. I didn’t catch everyone, but it was a good time! Share your photos with me!

There will be a casual get-together Friday evening, August 25th, at a little place called Peter's Biergarten. It is an outdoor venue right next door to Blooming Grounds, downtown Winona. They will have a 2 person band playing an eclectic mix of music (you may or may not like it) but we are there for each other, not necessarily the music. It's a lovely little area to socialize. They will have some tables reserved for us, probably on the 3rd street end. There is lots of parking behind. I'm thinking 6pm or so start, but come when you can. In case of rain, we can either move inside to Blooming Grounds or to Port 507 down the street. It depends on how many would be there. Blooming Grounds is much smaller. Will touch base if the weather isn't cooperating. Hoping for nice weather!

I realize many of you already have reservations for just Saturday at hotels, so I'm sorry if you can't make it for this. Anyone who is interested is welcome, but it would be helpful for me to know in advance for a rough number.

There will be no name tags here, so there will be a lot of, "what's your name again?", happening. We all change over the years, no one should feel bad about this. It's a given at reunions. Lol.

Hey guys! Tammy Siewert Nienow Has arranged for a tour of the high school for anyone interested. It's set up just for the class of 83 on Saturday, August 26, from 10:00 am - noon. The high school will only be open during this time. You can arrive at any time within that time frame. A few students will be the guides. Come and see how the school has changed since we've been there.
