How did you spend your Orange Hot Winhawk Summer?

The Siemback Family took a road trip to Black Hills, Custer, Wind Cave, Mount Rushmore and the Badlands. They saw buffalo, prairie dogs, wild donkeys, pronghorn and mountain goats on the trip. They even got to pet "Fluffy," the crocodile at the Reptile Gardens.

Brent Stinson is returning to the district as the principal of Jefferson Elementary and the assistant director of Special Education. It's more than a homecoming; it's a chance to be a part of something special.

Our educators often go the extra mile for their students.

Shari Sletteland, Family and Consumer Sciences Teacher at Winona Senior High School, is a trained CPR instructor. While there are some classes in which CPR is part of the curriculum, Ms. Sletteland also knows that students may need CPR certification for their future plans. So she offers it as a service for anyone to take.
