This past weekend Drs. Brue & Ladd presented at the Christian Association of Psychological Studies conference in Dallas. Dr. Brue's presentation was on "To Bracket or Broach: Discerning How to Engage Value Differences." Dr. Ladd presented on "Creative Ways to Challenge Students Beyond Practicum Into Internship" and "Fostering Multicultural Competency through Therapeutic Supervision".

Come join us at next year's CAPS conference in Atlanta (March 12 - 14).

DOGC students attended a Practicum Orientation Workshop at the William Male Center this morning. Interns gave presentations on video recording and conversion, finding sites, and developing group experiences. The Graduate Student Council hosted a barbecue following the training, and students enjoyed good food and fellowship!

The 2017 graduating class met for a celebratory breakfast at Creighton Crazy Egg Cafe. Students surprised Dr. Gilbert, who is missing graduation this year to attend her son's doctoral graduation in Colorado, with a mock graduation ceremony. Students said they didn't want to miss getting their hug.
