What a First Week, Mavericks! 💙🧡

We’re officially one week into the 2026–2027 school year, and the energy across Midlands STEM has been incredible!

From welcoming students through the doors to classrooms filled with enthusiasm, our teachers and staff have brought their passion, creativity, and dedication every step of the way. It’s been amazing to see our Maverick family come together and start the year strong.

This is just the beginning! We’re looking forward to a year filled with learning, growth, innovation, and plenty of Maverick pride.

🏃‍♀️🏀 Student-Athletes: Take Care of Your Sports Physical at School! 🏐⚾

We’re making it easier and more affordable for our Maverick athletes to get ready for the upcoming sports seasons!

Palmetto Metabolic TeleHealth will be on campus September 11 from 12:00–2:00 PM offering on-site athletic physicals for just $20!

It’s convenient, affordable, and one less thing for families to have to schedule.

Our athletic staff will also be on hand to collect and file completed physical forms, helping make the process as easy as possible.

School Bus Safety Reminder! 💙🧡

As we get back into the routine of a new school year, let's all do our part to keep our Mavericks safe! Please remember to slow down, stay alert, and always stop when a school bus is loading or unloading students.

Our students' safety is everyone's responsibility. Let's make sure every Maverick gets to and from school safely! 💙🧡

💙🧡 What an incredible Open House! 🧡💙

A huge thank you to all of our students, families, and staff who joined us for Open House! It was amazing to see our halls filled with smiling faces, classrooms buzzing with excitement, and so many families connecting with our teachers as we prepare for an incredible school year.

From meeting new teachers to reconnecting with familiar faces, the energy throughout the building reminded us what makes the Maverick family so special. We are beyond excited for everything the 2026–2027 school year has in store!

Thank you for your continued support and for choosing Midlands STEM Charter School. We can't wait to welcome our students back and begin another year of learning, growth, and success together.

📚 Open House is Almost Here! 💙🧡

The countdown is on! We can't wait to welcome our Maverick families for Open House this Thursday, August 6th, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM.

This is the perfect opportunity to:
✨ Meet your teachers
✨ Visit your classrooms
✨ Learn about the upcoming school year
✨ Connect with our staff and fellow Maverick families

Be sure to attend the orientation session for your student's grade level:
📍 Pre-K – 5th Grade: 5:30 PM – 6:00 PM
📍 Middle & High School: 6:00 PM – 6:30 PM

Families are welcome to explore classrooms throughout the evening outside of the scheduled orientation times.

We're excited to kick off another incredible year of learning, innovation, and Maverick pride. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

As our teachers & staff kicked off their first week back and began preparing for an exciting new school year, we were grateful to spend part of that time at Charter Institute at Erskine for a fantastic day of professional development.

A sincere thank you to the Erskine Charter team for your warm hospitality and for providing MSCS with welcoming environment to learn, collaborate, and grow together. We truly appreciate the opportunity and enjoyed every minute of it.
