All 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students have received Student Handbooks and an AI Law acknowledgement form that parents must complete and return to school. Please make time to remit these completed forms TOMORROW! The farther we get into the year, the less likely they are to make it back in a timely fashion!

Also, please note the required fees listed at the bottom of the Student Parent Contract and remit those as soon as possible.

Teacher classroom fees are as follows and should be remitted as soon as possible:

Elkins $5
McCoy $5
Bird $10
Carter $15

Thanks so much for your prompt attention to these matters! It’s going to be a fabulous year!

TGIF! Here’s the supply list for my class this year! Students should prepare their binders before school starts so that we may be organized from the very start!

Binders must have durable dividers which are labeled in the following manner:

M (math)
L (literature)
G (grammar)
Sci (science)
SS (social studies)
E (enrichment)

The order is irrelevant, but the letters should be universal for all middle school students! Students should have binders, pencils, and paper ready for day 1!

I’m looking forward to a great year!! See you all soon!

UPDATE 10:45am 6/12/2026
MATTHEW 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: 8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.
GOD HAS GRACIOUSLY MET THIS NEED IN A MATTER OF JUST A FEW HOURS! HE IS ALWAYS FAITHFUL! THANK YOU GENEROUS SPONSORS FOR SEWING INTO THIS NEED!

I’m going into my eleventh year at FA, and I have moved to a different classroom! Many of you know I worked hard to earn money to make needed improvements in the room I was in before—painting, getting shelves built in, replacing the white board, updating the ceiling tiles/tracks, etc.

The ceiling in my new room needs to be replaced! It is obvious that objects have been thrown at and lodged into the ceiling tiles throughout the room—an unfortunate misbehavior that stops at me! The metal tracks also show major discoloration and rust. Many tiles are sagging low due to age and typical environmental exposure.

The expense for this room’s specific upgrade is not in the school budget for this year, and I understand why. However, I truly want to start fresh and make my new classroom feel wonderful for my students the way I worked so hard to improve the last one.

I’ve done the research, and I will enlist help for the labor—but I need donors and sponsors to help me see this project through before August! My lowest estimate for the materials for this project is right at $800 (materials and tax) for 9 boxes of tile and 10 cans of Kilz Upshot. Would anyone prayerfully consider donating to or fully funding this much needed repair? It is likely that I can provide a donation form for tax purposes! Please message me privately if you can help! Thank you in advance!
