As always, our goal is to keep our Griffin families and community informed, connected, and engaged with everything happening at Fairfield Middle School. Take a moment to review this month’s important dates, upcoming events, school highlights, and helpful information.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support of our Griffin scholars!

We began the month by introducing our Griffin scholars to Career Clusters, helping them understand the many career pathways available and encouraging them to consider how their interests can connect to future opportunities.

Our Career Cluster of the Month focused on Construction. Scholars explored the wide range of opportunities within the construction industry, from skilled trades to professional careers, and learned about the many pathways available within this growing field.

We also featured Allen University as our College of the Month. This gave scholars an opportunity to learn more about the university while reinforcing the importance of beginning their college and postsecondary exploration early.

We concluded the month with our “Build Your Path” lesson, where scholars explored how their interests, skills, and values connect to their future goals and the lives they hope to build. During these conversations, scholars used words such as “Driven,” “Determined,” and “Impactful” to describe who they are and who they hope to become. When reflecting on what matters most to them, scholars identified values such as life, family, friends, and health.

We are proud to see our Griffin scholars beginning to make meaningful connections between who they are today and the futures they are building for themselves.

As we move into October, we look forward to continuing these important conversations and providing even more opportunities for our scholars to explore college, careers, and the many possibilities ahead.
