After school last Friday, Franklin Parish FFA Chapter hosted their first FFA Fun Day! This acted as a recruitment opportunity for all AG students. We played fun games, ate good food, and built relationships with our fellow members! We had over 50 students in attendance and are so incredibly grateful for the chapter we’re beginning to build! This is the first, but It won’t be the last, stay tuned for more FFA Fun activities!

Last Friday Franklin Parish FFA chapter officers and some enthusiastic freshman had the opportunity to attend C**T Conference at Rayville Art Center. Students learned about leadership skills, future goals, and more! They reconnected with old friends and made new ones! Overall an amazing opportunity for our current leaders and future leaders to grow!

Happy National Teach Ag Day!

Our Agriscience I classes participated in the NAAE Breakout of the Ordinary Breakout Challenge! Students worked together to solve clues and complete challenges designed to help them better connect with the profession of agricultural education and “Break In” to the world of Teach Ag.

As the National FFA Organization celebrates record membership across the country, we're proud to celebrate the continued growth of our own chapter. Every new member represents another student choosing to develop leadership skills, build career readiness, and make a difference through agricultural education.

Thank you to all of our members and supporters for helping our chapter grow stronger each year. Together, we're building the next generation of leaders, innovators, and advocates for agriculture.

As summer comes to an end, the Franklin Parish FFA Chapter would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of our 2025–2026 sponsors for your incredible support!

Because of your generosity, our members had opportunities to grow as leaders, develop career skills, and represent our chapter throughout the year. Your support made it possible for students to:

🌾 Compete in Leadership Development Events (LDEs) and Career Development Events (CDEs)

🎓 Attend Leadership Conferences, Leadership Camp, and the Louisiana FFA State Convention

⭐ Serve on state nominating committees and seek leadership positions

📚 Promote agriculture and agricultural literacy to students throughout our community

Thank you for investing in our students and believing in the future of agriculture. Your partnership helps cultivate the next generation of agricultural leaders, and we are truly grateful for your continued support.

This week, Franklin Parish FFA traveled to the Area I & II Leadership Camp, where members were encouraged to discover their strengths, build lasting friendships, and find the missing pieces that make them who they are.

For Shiann, Tristan, and Louis, the highlights of the trip were meeting new friends, strengthening chapter leadership, and stepping outside their comfort zones.

During camp, Shiann also attended the 2nd Annual Louisiana Agricultural Educator Academy, where she learned more about what to expect as she considers pursuing one of the most rewarding careers out there!

Franklin Parish FFA wrapped up a great week at the 97th Annual Louisiana FFA State Convention!

We are so proud of this outstanding group of students. They participated in sessions and workshops, served as delegates, ran for leadership positions, and connected with fellow FFA members from across Louisiana.

Their dedication, leadership, and commitment to personal growth continue to make Franklin Parish FFA proud. Congratulations on a successful convention and for representing our chapter so well! 💙💛
