Greetings Stellar Stingray Parents, Guardians and Families,
The School Improvement Council is an advisory committee that works together to help the school reach goals set in its Five-Year plan/School Renewal Plan. This committee advises the Principal on ways they feel would help the school to improve for the students. The SIC is advisory only and does not make final decisions on school policies or operations as the Principal would, however, it is a vital part of helping students achieve academic success and encouraging parents to engage with their children's educational journeys. We welcome all parents, guardians and families to take part in the SIC.
FES would like to thank the parents and families who completed the SIC questionnaire paper-form during Meet & Greet, to share your thoughts on the days and times you would like to attend the School Improvement Council meetings. With this being said, we have a consensus of two days and two times, and would like to get input from those of you who did not get to fill out a questionnaire and those who did, in order to get final confirmation on a day and time to meet for the 26/27 school year.
Please complete the survey by selecting either Tuesday or Thursday at 9:00 am or 1:00 pm. The meetings will be held virtually each month. Electronic invitations will be sent via email and ParentSquare as a reminder . Minutes of the meetings will be available on our website for all to view. Parents and families may also request a written copy of the minutes. The deadline to complete the survey is Thursday, August 13, 2026.
