Mint bar and trail mix bar by WPS Parents

Stadium bags and patches provided by WPS parents. A perfect treat for all of their summer adventures!!

Thank you again to all of our local businesses, community leaders, and our parents for making this week possible! ❤️❤️ We hope our teachers and staff felt the love and appreciation we have for them!

Day 3!

WPS Cafeteria cooked a yummy breakfast for staff this morning!

WPS parents provided a catered meal of grilled chicken pasta and green beans from Soulful Wings!

Subway cookie platters were donated by James Oil and Gas/Sherwood Events and Autumn Leaves Nursing home!

Drinks provided by Chad Smith with Southern Logging

Learning Tree provided gifts this afternoon that included journals, stickers, pens, bookmarks, and more!

We gave away 2 more rolling podiums in our giveaway today!

1st grade winner: Mrs. Plunkett- donated by James Oil & Gas Producer/Sherwood Events

2nd grade winner: Mrs. Johnson-donated by Jordan Steel Truss

Day 2!!

Our staff enjoyed a delicious catered lunch by parents, community members, and local business owners!

Pretty Baked (Nikita Etheridge) Tommy and Angie Harrel, and Triple E Construction (Clay and Ryan Etheridge)

Multiple options of chicken salad, spinach dip, croissants, crackers, variety of pickles, and grape salad for dessert!

They also set up a Dirty Soda and Alani bar for the teachers to enjoy! 🥤

Wal mart provided a gift card to purchase supplies for the day!

Jeldwen provided drinks!

Weyerhaeuser provided paper products!

WPS Parents provided the teachers with fuzzy socks today because they make learning warm and “fuzzy” 🫶🏻

Pre K and Kindergarten teachers were placed in a drawing for a rolling podium prize for their classrooms!

First day was a success!

Farm Bureau agent Reid McClendon and his wife Maggie made some delicious, homemade jambalaya, green beans, and banana pudding!

Weyerhaeuser and Geldwen have donated paper goods and drinks for the week!

Niki Etheridge decorated the lounge today and made an adorable banner for the week!

Our parent group supplied a gift today of jewelry boxes and Jesus bracelets!

✨✨✨Hey parents! It’s that time to start collecting money to go towards Teacher Appreciation Week for WPS! We have one week to collect! It begins May 5-8th

All money collected goes to supplying food, treats, and supplies towards this week! I will be posting for volunteers on certain days once schedule is decided!

Hey everyone!

Teacher Appreciation is quickly approaching! We will be collecting money from parents again-will post that later in the week to start collecting funds for gifts/supplies/etc.

Last year, many local businesses graciously donated a lunch for each day-which helped greatly with cost! I am hoping we can do that again! We have done subway, chic fil a, catered items, etc.

If you work at a business, own a business, or know of a business that would like to donate lunch-please comment below or direct message or text me personally! (Amanda Hubbard)

The Fair is coming NEXT WEEK!

This Sunday, September 28th, @ 2 pm, we need help getting our WPS Fair Booth set up! You do not need any artistic or decorating skills to help 🤪 We just need as many people as we can to help and get it knocked out!

Please comment below if you are able to be there!
We will be meeting in the exhibit area at 2 PM this SUNDAY!
