Today we celebrated a true WMS legend, Principal and Coach Brian Savell.

Since 1994, Coach Savell has dedicated his life to Winnfield Middle School, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students, athletes, teachers, and families. His legacy reaches far beyond wins and titles. He is a man of integrity, loyalty, strength, and leadership.

Whether in the classroom, on the field, or in the halls of WMS, Coach Savell has always led with character, wisdom, and heart. His influence has helped shape our school, our community, and countless lives over the years.

Thank you, Coach Savell, for your unwavering dedication to Winnfield Middle School and for being the kind of leader people look up to and never forget.

The 7th grade Social Studies classes presented semiquincentennial coffee mugs to Coach Savell and Kelly Griffin in honor of their retirement from Winnfield Middle School. As they retire during such a historic milestone in our nation’s story, we hope that each morning cup of coffee serves as a reminder of the memories, the history, and the many lives they impacted at WMS. 🇺🇸📚
