Our 2nd graders had their first official meet-up with their 6th Grade Buddies today!

They tackled a tricky challenge together, got to know one another a little better, and started building the friendships they’ll carry with them throughout the year and beyond.

Tomorrow, they’ll get to put those new connections into action as they sit together for our first All-School Mass of the year. Parents and families are always welcome to join us!

It was a beautiful sunshine-y day, perfect for catching up with old friends, sharing stories of summertime adventure, exploring new classrooms, and getting ready for a fantastic year ahead!

Reminder: Tomorrow is the first FULL day for 1st - 8th Grade!

Yesterday’s Ice Cream Social was a pretty sweet start to what is shaping up to be an equally wonderful year ahead!

We caught up with old friends and welcomed new ones, laughed and played, enjoyed our beautiful campus and compared notes about the first day of school - which is TOMORROW!

On that note, Sacred Heart students: Set out those uniforms, pack your backpacks and get a good night’s sleep. Tomorrow is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see all that this year has in store!

See you in the morning, Vikings! (Between 8:00 - 8:15 AM in the back alley for drop-off) - check out the Viking Wire from Sunday for a detailed map of the car line and remember, it's an EARLY DISMISSAL DAY for 1st - 8th Grade with pickup at 1:30 PM.

The first bell hasn’t even rung, and our 8th graders are already hard at work! They’re kicking off the year with service, helping get our turf and playground sparkling clean and ready to welcome our Sacred Heart families for this afternoon’s Ice Cream Social!

We are so excited to kick off a new school year with all of our Sacred Heart families, returning and new!

Join us for Mass at 4:30 PM in the church, then make your way around the school to the playground for our Annual Back-to-School Ice Cream Social, beginning around 5:30 PM.

All are welcome! RSVPs are appreciated to help us plan, but they are not required. Plans changed? Just show up - we’d love to see you!

Please note: The Ice Cream Social will take place entirely outdoors on the playground and turf. The school building will remain closed until Tuesday.

We can't wait to see you tomorrow!

Day Fifteen.

This wasn't just our kindergarteners' first trip to Wagner Farm.

It was their first time making butter.

It took every student, plenty of teamwork, and a whole lot of shaking before that cream solidified into something each could spread on a cracker to taste.

At Sacred Heart, we believe the best learning happens when children can see it, touch it, and experience it together.

Every child has unique strengths. Sometimes our job is simply to recognize them.

During our Junior Tower Players production of "Ali Baba and the Bongo Bandits," one student's incredible acrobatic ability became part of the performance itself.

Because when schools celebrate each child's unique gifts, students don't just participate. They shine.
