Hello everyone!

I wanted to take a moment to update you all on why I’ve been a bit quiet on social media lately.

⭐️ I moved to Reno and have been settling into a new job, home, area, social group… this took lots of mental fortitude and I didn’t have much left for students and content creation.

⭐️ I am now (6 months later!) finally getting in the groove of things and focusing on some exciting new projects and diving deeper into developing resources to support my students better.

⭐️ I am finishing my last class in my degree program and will alas have my M.Ed in Secondary English Education.

With all of this, I am SO PLEASED to be offering academic tutoring in the Reno/Tahoe area!

*I will be making trips to Winnemucca if sessions are booked.*

Hello everyone! If you have not heard yet, I will be relocating to Reno, NV because I have accepted a training position for a coffee company.

This will impact services ONLY to the extent that I will not be available for in person sessions in Winnemucca every day.

However, I am still planning on making the trip over 2-3 times a month to meet with students. I can also take appointments via Zoom from anywhere!

I want to thank the Winnemucca community for supporting me and starting my leg in this journey. I had a very successful last month here with my first two month-long students who booked all 6 sessions in one month. ❤️ I love being able to support children and adults who are on their own academic success journey.

I’ve been a little MIA recently due to a number of reasons, but I’m back with more availability for sessions!

A demographic I would really like to hit is the homeschooled students of this area. It is nice to have a new and knowledgeable adult work with your student on anything they need to help them succeed in life. For the month of February, I’m giving a discount to all homeschoolers! (Tag them!)

Hello everyone! I am back after relaxing and enjoying a nice few weeks off of tutoring & college.

I wanted to give you a few reminders on why hiring a tutor is an important and wise investment.

Hiring a tutor who deeply cares about your student’s success is a priceless tool that they can take with them through their education. Remember that teacher that you and your child loved because of how they supported and cared for your student? Imagine that every year.

I take pride in building positive relationships with students and fostering a welcoming and safe environment that reassures students that it’s okay to try, to fail, and keep practicing until you are successful.

I discovered the “Invite your Friends” button on Facebook and I’m so happy so many of my friends decided to follow me. 🥹😂

This is an important reminder for everyone, not just students aiming to finish school. Slow down, be present in the moment, worry less about the future. Kids & parents alike; we can all benefit from this advice.

Good morning! I wanted to remind you that I’m still booking for appointments, times are limited now through the rest of the year.

I’m anticipating sessions to pick back up after a nice long holiday break and I’m hoping to open up more availability! Yay!

I also wanted to put here what my credentials are. As stated, I am enrolled in a Masters of Education program for Secondary English. With that I’m hoping to teach high school English or become an adjunct professor while continuing tutoring preK-post secondary. I have also been a classroom teacher for middle school for two years where I gained a true passion for education in general, not just for the public school system. Looking far forward, I am hoping to one day pursue a doctorate in the educational leadership field.

Overall I am an educated, understanding, and passionate individual who cares about equal access and high quality education for all.
