Ho-Chunk, Inc. Community Engagement

Ho-Chunk, Inc. Community Engagement Hinįkaragi! This is a place to connect the Winnebago community with Ho-Chunk, Inc. and other organizations. How is this page different from the Ho-Chunk, Inc.

Ho-Chunk, Inc.’s mission is to serve the Winnebago Tribe of Nebraska. We work hard every day to provide economic development and job opportunities for Tribal members. Please visit hochunkinc.com to learn more about our corporation and all of our subsidiary companies. Corporate page? This page is focused on information for local Winnebago community members and Winnebago Tribal members. What will be

posted on this page? There are two primary goals with this page. First, is to connect our company with other organizations and programs on the Winnebago Reservation and surrounding community. Look for posts about events from other organizations including the Winnebago Tribe, its programs and other entities, Winnebago Public Schools, Educare, etc. We want to promote all the positive activities happening on our reservation and assist our tribal membership in gaining information about these activities. Our second goal is to share information about how Ho-Chunk, Inc. is positively impacting the community and Winnebago Tribal members. You might see a post about a local open house or business expansion; updates on some of our housing initiatives; photos and info when tribal or other dignitaries visit the company; facts about our company and much more! RULES

We invite posts about upcoming events or information that provides a benefit to tribal members. Ask questions and provide feedback. We encourage you to keep the conversation civil and polite. By using or accessing this page, you agree to comply with the following guidelines. We reserve the right to remove any posts that do not comply with our guidelines. Posts will be removed that:

• Are unlawful, libelous, defamatory, vulgar, abusive or violates others’ privacy rights
• Contains personal contact information
• Contains confidential business or personal information
• Are degrading to others based on gender, race, class, ethnicity, disability, religion
• Are personal attacks

Play nice, please.

Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Don Belson. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏽

Don was a good partner to work with and strongly believed in community impact. We will always remember the time he let us use his cool pickup truck to pull our float for the Winnebago Public Schools Homecoming parade. He happily drove us, no questions asked. He will be dearly missed. ❤️

The Sioux City Bandits organization is heartbroken to share the passing of our owner, Don Belson.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his daughter, Cindy, his grandson, Tim, and all of Don’s family, friends, and everyone whose lives he touched through the Sioux City Bandits over the years.

We kindly ask that you respect the family’s privacy during this incredibly difficult time as they grieve their loss.

We know many of you will have questions about the future of the organization. While there is more to share in the coming weeks, we want to assure our fans, partners, and community that the Sioux City Bandits are committed to moving forward and preparing for the 2027 season.

Thank you for your prayers, support, and understanding during this time.
