Join Dragon FUNd’s, the Dover Athletic Boosters, and Dover Music Boosters for a joint parent and community meet-and-greet.

From sports and music to academic milestones and trips, our groups keep these opportunities running, but we cannot do it without parent volunteers. Whether you can lend a hand for an hour at an event or just want to see how you can help. Come grab a bite, meet other families, and discover how easy it is to make a difference for our 6th–12th graders this year.
We’ll be serving light refreshments, so please let us know you’re coming so we have enough food!

Today we’d like to shout out a VERY important business to our community!! Extreme Designs Signs & Apparel!! From shirts, to banners, signs and SO much more, they’ve got what it takes!! In addition to being collaborative business owners, they are also parents and residents in our District. They do SO much for various groups in DUFSD, and we sure appreciate them. Today we proudly present Sofia Iandolo!! Sofia will be attending SUNY Binghamton in the fall where she will be majoring in psychology.
Her memories include: “Marching in the St. Patty’s Day parade each year were definitely some of my favorite memories, especially the year bus 4 got stuck in traffic and had to catch up to the rest of the band.” CONGRATS Sofia!!!🧡🖤🎓🐉 That does conclude the seniors who filled out Mr. Sowul’s google form. Back to our Senior Spotlights! Today we bring our Drum Major, Shane Fleischman! Shane is heading to the University of New Haven to study Mechanical Engineering! (WOW another engineer!). Shane shares: “My favorite band memory was marching down fifth avenue, turning around and seeing half the band running trying to catch up with the rest of the band!” CONGRATS Shane!!🧡🖤🎓🎶

Happy Graduation Day, Dragons!! Today we feature Miranda Diaz. Miranda is going to study biomedical engineering at Drexel University (woohoo, go Engineers!)
She says: “My favorite memory was the Virginia beach trip last year! Even though I had lost both my shorts and shoes luckily they were found though! Also, being able to march with my brother Max in the parade this year.” CONGRATS Miranda! 🖤🧡🐉🎶

Next up we have William Ricci III! Billy will be going to DCC for performing arts and his music performance certification, to ultimately become a professional musician and music teacher.
Billy had this to say about his time at Dover: “Some memorable moments for me was when we went to Virginia Beach, that was really cool. Cabaret this year was a blast all the songs we played were so much fun. I remember freshman year I was amazed at the way the band sounded when we played the swiss shepard that was all really cool. But overall I think my favorite moment was when I played goodbye pork pie hat in front of a full house, or when Majd and I went back and forth on a joint solo for jazz.” CONGRATS Billy! 🧡🖤🐉🎶
