***Important Info for WCHS CLASS of 1993***

The Class of 1993 has an account set up at the Citizen’s Bank of Winfield. It currently doesn’t have any money in it but anyone that is interested in contributing to the account can go by and tell the tellers to deposit the money into “THE CLASS of 1993 Reunion fund”. We will use this money for reunions and deaths. We will be sending an arrangement to Rob Sandlin’s funeral when the final arrangements are made. Please feel free to share this with all our classmates.

Breaks my heart to lose anyone, much less one of our own classmates. So sad.

Robert Bryce “Rob” Sandlin, age 43, of Winfield, passed away Thursday, July 5, 2018 at his residence. Rob was a 1993 Winfield City High School graduate. He is survived by his wife, Amy Smith Sandlin, stepchildren, Cameron & Andrew Taylor, Santana Reeves (Daryl), step grandchildren, Oakley, Jaxon, Hadley Jo, Drake, Rhett and, Makenna, sisters, Melissa (Alan) Stovall, Kim Aldridge (Scott), mother in law, Patty Gann (Jerry), father in law, Ted Smith (Mary), brother in law, Alan Smith (Tonya) and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and other relatives and friends. Rob is preceded in death by his parents, Louis Scott & Peggy Sexton Sandlin, grandparents Robert & Lucille Sexton, Louie Bryce Sandlin and Evelyn Tidwell Sandlin. Funeral services for Rob will be held on Sunday, July 8, 2018 at 4:00 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the Winfield City Cemetery. Brett Burleson and Jerry Gann will officiate. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. service time at the funeral home. Bowen Funeral Home serving the Sandlin family.

I can't believe our 20th reunion is this weekend!! I'm excited beyond words to see all of you! But if you haven't committed to the fun, it's not too late. Just send me a message and bring me the money when you come! Details are below:) oh and by the way...I've been converting lots of VHS tapes to DVDs this week so be prepared to laugh!!

Saturday at noon- come bring your family to swim at my house. Bring a desert or drinks or snack...we will have a light lunch and finger foods.

Saturday night at 6:30- grown ups meet at the Boars Butt for dinner (steak or chicken) and sides, drink and dessert for $20 for you or $35 for you and a guest:)
