Our name is SCAP which is abbreviated for Southwestern College Academic Press. We are founded specifically in the business department on our Southwestern College campus in Winfield, Kansas. Our team consists of current students that are mainly business majors. We have two Instructors/supervisors for the class to help guide our progress. The names of our team member are Luke Arneson, Christian Butl
er, Anastasia Prokopis, Cristian Mendoza, Sara Blackburn, Pari Sopha, Misty Teague, Daniel Van Sickle, and Abby Gengler. Our main focus is gaining author’s manuscripts and establishing, producing, and publicizing their product throughout the entire process. The author is given satisfaction that their book will be advertised toward the market with full effort and support. Established in 2005, the mission of Southwestern College Academic Press is to
support the teaching and research activities of the College by fostering
scholarly inquiry through the selection, production, and diffusion of academic
works.Our organization has been growing ever since becoming a stand out organization on campus and impact around the country having sales and production worldwide. Our dedication is toward our customers and giving hundred percent toward their manuscripts into becoming best-seller books throughout the nation. The range of subjects in which the Press is interested reflects the disciplines associated with traditional liberal arts courses of study. This is supplemented by other areas of current curricular or programmatic interest at Southwestern College
