Attendance Matters at Country View!

We are excited to celebrate a 97% building-wide attendance average for September! Way to show up, Vikings!

A special congratulations goes to Kindergarten, who earned the honor of Best Attendance for September with an outstanding 98.5% class average and the honor to hold on to the traveling trophy this month.

Why does attendance matter? Missing just two days of school each month can add up to chronic absenteeism over the course of a school year. Regular attendance gives students more opportunities to learn, build relationships, develop routines, and be part of their school community.

Thank you to our Country View families for making attendance a priority and helping our students show up, learn, and grow every day!

Today we celebrated our September Capturing Kids’ Hearts character trait: Empathy!

Empathy means taking the time to understand how someone else may be feeling and showing kindness, care, and compassion in the way we respond. We are proud of our Country View students who continue to show empathy through their words and actions each day.

A special congratulations to the students recognized during our assembly for demonstrating this important character trait!

This year’s Viking Homecoming theme was “A Night in the Big City,” and Country View put our own little spin on it!

Our float brought the big city to the back of a truck, while our students reminded everyone where their hearts really belong by singing “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver.

Big city lights are fun…but there’s still no place like home!

We are so proud of our Country View Vikings for representing our school with plenty of spirit, smiles, and school pride!

Check out our float as it made its way through the Homecoming parade!
