Thank you, Legacy, for letting us come meet with you. Lots of great SC connections, community support & service and good conversation.

Legacy Regional Community Foundation Grants Committee members met this morning to hear an inspiring presentation from Southwestern College Leadership students. We gained new insights into the students’ studies, servant leadership and their work throughout our community.

Memorable thoughts:
1) Philanthropy is “the love of humankind”
2) Philanthropy has two sides: the relief of suffering and improved quality of life
3) “Nothing is mandatory. Nothing is optional.”
