Mrs. Handley had the opportunity to attend the Texture Hair Elevated Summit weekend of October 7-9 in Atlanta to continue her education by diving much deeper into learning more about textured hair.

A few of our cosmetology students had the opportunity to to attend the JLDC Conference in Huntsville last week. They heard a great speaker, how to network with others, met some new friends. Very proud of these future professionals.

It’s been a very busy couple of weeks in our Cosmetology Class. We’ve been learning all the things about the hair strand, hair structure, scalp disorders, and hair types.

The Career & Technical Education department is having a CTE Holiday market and wants to invite you.

Christmas in the City Holiday Market is a WCHS CTE fundraiser and a way of bringing our community and others around us together to celebrate the holidays. We welcome you to join us on Saturday, November 18, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. – 4 p.m. for a fun and festive event. The market will be located in the commons and courtyard at Winfield City High School. We would like to have vendors of all kinds selling gifts, jewelry, Christmas decorations, food items, clothing, home decor, handmade creations and other specialty items.
